Principal and Chief Executive Officer

Bobby Turner

Over the past two decades, Bobby Turner has established himself as a pioneer in the area of social impact investing. Since founding Turner Impact Capital in 2014, he has rapidly built one of the nation’s largest social impact investment firms, with over $5 billion in investment potential to help address some of the country’s most pervasive social issues with real estate solutions. As former Chairman, CEO and Co-Founding Partner of Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA), he oversaw a commercial real estate and mortgage asset portfolio totaling over $12 billion and was responsible for launching several groundbreaking funds that helped define the “triple bottom line” investment movement. In his years as a social impact innovator, Bobby has dedicated himself to providing sound financial returns for investors while fostering opportunities for the communities in which his funds invest.

Bobby is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., Finance) where he serves on Wharton’s Board of Advisors and where he has endowed a number of initiatives focused on social impact and ESG investing. Today these programs have grown to include curriculum development in such areas as social impact investing and business ethics, summer internships for students who want to work in either the public or nonprofit sectors, financial scholarships for minority students, the Turner Social Impact Society, the Lauren and Bobby Turner Executive Speaker Series for ESG, the Turner MIINT which is an experiential lab designed to give students at business and graduate schools a hands-on education in impact investing, and the Turner Impact Portfolio Challenge which provides aspiring wealth managers with an impact lens across asset classes to address the world’s most critical challenges. 

Principal and Chief Operating Officer

Dan Millman

A co-founder of Turner Impact Capital, Dan Millman plays a role in all of the firm’s investment strategies and focuses particularly on investment performance, financing, and treasury management. Dan is also the architect of the Turner Healthcare Facilities Fund. Immediately prior to Turner Impact Capital, Dan oversaw all equity and debt investments for Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA), where he was a Principal, Head of Asset Management, and a member of the investment and executive committees. While at CCRA, Dan developed and implemented several ground-breaking real estate funds including the $200mm Canyon Catalyst Fund and the $200mm Canyon Multifamily Impact Fund. Prior to CCRA, Dan held various leadership roles with publicly-traded real estate owners.

Dan has served on numerous civic and charitable boards and is currently the chair of the University of Maryland Incentive Awards Advisory Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Maryland College Park Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A., Economics).

Principal and General Counsel

Bari Cooper Sherman

Bari Cooper Sherman is co-founder of Turner Impact Capital. As General Counsel, she oversees the day-to-day legal aspects of Turner Impact’s business and strategic planning as well as all fund formations and investor partnerships and negotiations.  Bari has been a practicing attorney since 1990. Bari was formerly the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA). As CCRA’s first General Counsel, Bari built its in-house legal department. She was responsible for overseeing the legal aspects of its business as well as all fund formations, separate accounts and investor partnerships. While there, Bari was a member of the investment committee and executive committee.  

Bari serves on the board of New Los Angeles Charter School, a Los Angeles-based charter school operator serving TK-8th grade students. She also serves as the board chair of LCS Support Corporation, a corporation formed to support operational, facilities, and philanthropic needs of Larchmont Charter School, a Los Angeles-based charter school operator serving TK-12th grade students. Bari is a graduate of The George Washington University (B.B.A., Finance; J.D.).

Principal & President of Multifamily Housing Initiatives

Gee Kim

Gee Kim is a Principal of Turner Impact Capital and President of its Multifamily Housing Initiatives. As part of his overall responsibility for the firm’s multifamily housing investment activities, Gee oversees all deal origination, due diligence, financing, asset management, and social/environmental impact initiatives and programs.  Previously, Gee served as Director at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA), overseeing the Canyon Multifamily Impact Fund, a $200mm joint venture with Citibank designed to promote long-term, material, positive impact in underserved communities by investing in rental properties as an active owner and manager.

Gee is a LEED Accredited Professional, a California registered broker (DRE#: 01903210) and was formerly a NASD Series 7 and 63 licensed professional. He is active in his community, having worked for the Los Angeles Mayor’s Housing and Business Team and a local non-profit economic development organization, as well as having served on the boards of non-profits. Gee is a graduate of Stanford University (B.S., Earth Systems and B.A., Economics), Harvard Business School (M.B.A.), and the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government (M.P.A.).

Chief Healthcare Initiatives Officer

Len Fromer

Len Fromer is responsible for the oversight and leadership of Turner Impact Capital’s healthcare initiatives.  He is a nationally recognized expert in the areas of Primary Care Practice redesign and transformation, quality improvement and outcomes measurement, vaccine compliance quality improvement and health system reform, and he served on the American Medical Association’s commission on healthcare disparities.  He was a practicing physician for over 28 years and previously served as the Executive Medical Director of the Group Practice Forum, where he led nationwide projects to coordinate care across a continuum of services including preventative, outpatient, inpatient acute hospital care, post-acute care, and palliative care.  Len has lectured extensively on the topics of health-system reform, the patient centered medical home, and the accountable care organization and has been featured on CBS and ABC News, and in the NY Times. 

Len has served on numerous boards and advisory committees for, among others, the American Medical Association, U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, World Foundation for Studies of Female Health, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences.  He received a B.A. from the State University of New York, an M.D. from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency in Family Medicine at UC Irvine/Long Beach Memorial Hospital.

Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director

Roshan Sonthalia

Roshan Sonthalia is Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director of Turner Impact Capital. In this role, he oversees the firm’s investment, market, and operational risk management and sits on the firm’s investment committees. He also leads the Turner-Agassi Education Funds.

Roshan brings more nearly 25 years of real estate and investment management experience to his role. Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Roshan was counsel at Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC, advising their real estate funds on investor relations, originations, acquisitions, and asset management matters. He began his career as a real estate attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Los Angeles, representing private equity funds, developers, lenders, and institutional investors in complex real estate transactions.

Roshan is a member of the California Bar, a California-registered broker (DRE #02250193), and a graduate of UCLA, where he earned a B.A. in Economics and History, a J.D., and an M.B.A.

Managing Director and Business Development

Liat Cherkes

Liat Cherkes is responsible for investor relations across the firm’s strategies and business development.

Liat began her work with Turner Impact Capital as an investment professional within the Turner-Agassi Charter School Facilities Funds.  Liat joined the organization following her work as a real estate consultant to KIPP Bay Area Schools, a Charter School Management Organization, where she advised on KIPP’s Northern California facilities expansion strategy.  She is currently a member of the advisory board of Aspire Public Schools, a high performing charter school system in California and Tennessee.

Prior to her work with KIPP, Liat was a partner at a real estate investment firm focused on undervalued and distressed real estate opportunities and an Assistant Vice President at Avenue Capital Group, a global investment firm.   While at Avenue, Liat managed the Firm’s portfolio of residential and resort assets.  In addition to overseeing the acquisition, operation and disposition of investments, Liat operated and implemented strategies to enhance the value of activist investments in distressed real estate and also oversaw the legal and construction compliance pertaining to individual investments.

Liat is a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University (B.A. in English Literature; minor in Psychology) and received her law degree with honors from New York Law School (J.D.) where she was a member of the Law Review.

President of TI Communities

Christine Schoellhorn

Christine oversees all facets of TI Communities, the professional property management firm overseeing operations of the Turner Multifamily Impact Fund’s nationwide investments. Christine brings more than 25 years of broad management experience comprising property and business operations, marketing, training, and recruiting. Known for her strong track record of operational excellence, innovative problem solving and talent development, Christine held previous leadership roles with Steadfast Companies, The Irvine Company, BRE Properties, and Greystar.

Christine earned an MBA at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business and Management and holds the Certified Property Manager designation through IREM.

Senior VP of Operations, Safety and Security

Randy Slaughter

Randy Slaughter is Senior Vice President of Operations, Safety & Security at Turner Impact Capital. He is responsible for all aspects of security related to properties in the Turner Multifamily Impact Fund and Turner-Agassi Charter School Facilities Fund portfolios. He supports the team by identifying, quantifying and mitigating risk at each property, and develops innovative methods to promote safe environments through the use of community-centered approaches to security, local partnerships and advanced technology.

Randy is a national leader who has applied best practices in law enforcement by integrating security programs for a variety of real estate asset classes. For the past 12 years, he provided consultative, investigative and protective services to Canyon Partners and its international portfolio. During his 20-year law enforcement career, Randy was a Task Force Officer with the DEA and served a leading police department in Southern California as a detective, SWAT team member, gang liaison officer and other roles. He started his career as a member of the Military Police of the United States Marine Corps.

He holds undergraduate and master’s degrees from California State University, Long Beach.

President of Construction Services

Ramiro Viramontes

Ramiro Viramontes is the President of Construction Services of Turner Impact Capital. Ramiro brings over 32 years of corporate experience in construction management, facility operations, and property management. Ramiro is responsible for all construction projects for funds managed by Turner Impact Capital, including design development, green building sustainability, pre-construction and construction management. He has been involved in the development of 129 charter schools and community servicing healthcare clinics across the country.

Before joining Turner, Ramiro worked in a similar capacity for Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA) where he oversaw charter school construction.  Prior to CCRA, Ramiro was a Vice President of Construction Services at Pacific Charter School Development where he oversaw the portfolio of facility development projects for Aspire Public Schools, and other Charter School Management Organizations.  In his spare time, Ramiro has served on several boards and committees for schools in California and New York. He is a member of the United States Green Building Council and Harvard’s Environmental Club.

Senior Vice President of Talent Services

Carrie Polonsky

Carrie oversees development of TI Communities’ talent services initiatives and leads the execution of the Company’s staffing strategy by developing programs for employment and recruitment, market salary compensation, and performance training. She also designs and leads training programs in management, technology and professional development.

Carrie has 25 years of multifamily property management experience, with previous roles at Planned Property Management, AIMCO, Advanced Management Company, and Steadfast Companies. She has been a speaker at various multifamily housing events such as IREM, Apartment Associations, and the NAA Education Conference, and serves on an educational committee for a local apartment association and the Advisory Board for the industry’s only Social Media Summit.

Carrie holds a BA in Education from Purdue University.

Vice President of Investor Relations

Lynne Lovasco

Lynne Lovasco is responsible for the overview of fund level returns, capital contributions, fund distributions as well as overseeing quarterly investor reporting. Previously, Lynne was with Canyon Capital Realty Advisors LLC (CCRA), as a Fund Accountant and Investor Liaison.

Prior to joining CCRA, Lynne served as an Assistant General Manager and Property Accountant for Center Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT), overseeing a 1.1 million square foot retail center. Lynne has a long history with affordable housing: she began her career at Skid Row Housing Trust, a non-profit corporation specializing in the construction and redevelopment of Section 8 housing in downtown Los Angeles.

Lynne is a graduate of Woodbury University (BBA, Management, summa cum laude).

Director

John Hathaway

As Director of Real Estate for Turner Impact Capital’s Healthcare initiative, John Hathaway is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, negotiating and executing investment opportunities nationally.

Prior to joining Turner Healthcare, John served as Vice President of Real Estate & Construction for Hanger, Inc, the nation’s largest provider of orthopedic and prosthetic patient care, where he spearheaded their national expansion efforts and managed a portfolio of 1,300 clinical, administrative and manufacturing facilities across the United States. Prior to his work at Hanger, John worked as Vice President of Real Estate for Cinemark International. Mr. Hathaway led the company’s expansion into Latin America, Europe and Asia, identifying and executing free-standing and mall-based anchor tenant lease opportunities in 15 countries. Mr. Hathaway volunteers with the non-profit organization Children International and has assisted their efforts to build primary care clinics in Ecuador and Mexico.

John is a graduate of Willamette University (B.A. in International Studies; minor in Spanish) and the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin (MBA).

Managing Director and Co-Head of Housing

Brock Miller

Brock Miller is Managing Director and Co-Head of Turner Impact Capital’s Multifamily Housing Initiatives. In this role, he helps shape and execute the firm’s strategy to preserve and enrich communities through the acquisition, development, and financing of workforce housing across the U.S.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Brock focused on multifamily acquisitions at Greystar Real Estate Partners, a fully integrated global multifamily real estate company with expertise in investment management, development, and property management. Earlier in his career, he was an Investment Banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman Sachs, where he advised large-cap banks, insurance companies, and financial technology companies on mergers and acquisitions, initial and follow-on equity offerings, and a broad range of credit products.

Brock holds a B.S. in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.

Vice President, Head of Impact

Lissa Glasgo

As Vice President, Head of Impact, Lissa Glasgo works across Turner Impact Capital’s funds to drive actionable ESG and impact insights for investment decision-making across all funds. Lissa brings over 13 years of social and environmental impact management experience to Turner Impact Capital. Previously, Lissa led the development and evolution of the IRIS+ standards at the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), supporting asset allocators, fund managers, and service providers in adopting best practices for impact management. She began her career in impact program management and qualitative and quantitative research through roles at the Institute for Reproductive Health at Georgetown University, U.S. Peace Corps in Benin, and social enterprises focused on solar lighting and workforce development.

Lissa is a graduate of Rice University (BA, English Literature) and Yale University (MA, Global Affairs, with a focus on social enterprise, quantitative research methodologies, and gender).

Managing Director and Co-Head of Healthcare

Logan Harper

Logan Harper is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Turner Impact Capital’s Healthcare Initiatives. In this role, he helps guide the firm’s strategy to partner with mission-driven healthcare providers by developing, acquiring, and financing cost-effective, clinically efficient healthcare facilities across underserved communities throughout the U.S.  Logan leads the underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of new investments along with the management of portfolio assets for the Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds.

Before joining Turner Impact Capital, Logan was an investment professional at Pantheon Ventures, where he supported the launch and growth of the firm’s infrastructure and real assets platform. Logan began his career in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Citi.

Logan is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Finance from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and a minor in Sustainable Energy Systems from the College of Engineering.

Senior Vice President of Finance

Lorens Aronson

As Senior Vice President of Finance, Lorens is responsible for all accounting and tax matters, financial reporting, internal controls and treasury functions for all of Turner Impact Capital’s various funds.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Lorens was the CFO of Cove Capital Investments, where he had responsibility for oversight over all financial and investor reporting; property acquisition; and asset management functions. Lorens also spearheaded the buildout of the accounting and investor relations departments at Cove Capital Investments. Prior to joining Cove Capital Investments, Lorens spent three years working in J.P. Morgan’s Real Estate Americas platform overseeing the reporting and management of a large portfolio of commercial buildings. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan Lorens oversaw a team of accountants and property managers and served as a bridge between the finance, asset management, and acquisitions teams. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Lorens worked as an Accounting Manager at Colony Capital and a Senior Accountant at Mesa West Capital.

Lorens has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University Northridge and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Tommy Frettoloso

Tommy Frettoloso manages the construction process for projects in the Central and Western regions for all funds managed by Turner Impact Capital.  He brings over 30 years of corporate experience in construction management. Tommy was formerly a Project Manager for CB Richard Ellis and Trammell Crow and has managed a portfolio of over 26 million square feet.

Managing Director and Co-Head of Healthcare

Kate Hirsh

Kate Hirsh is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Turner Impact Capital’s Healthcare Initiatives where she oversees the national execution of healthcare development projects that deliver high-quality facilities for providers serving vulnerable populations throughout the U.S.  Kate also leads the firm’s New Market Tax Credit program, providing flexible, low-cost financing solutions for community-serving facilities in historically underserved markets. In addition, she oversees the Turner Impact Rebuild Altadena Fund, which seeks to accelerate the rebuilding of essential community infrastructure in Altadena following the devastating Eaton Fire in January 2025.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Kate held management roles at Beach City Capital, CIM Group, and Pacific Charter School Development, where she focused on urban infill projects across the U.S. Her experience spans development of healthcare facilities, mixed-use multifamily projects, office buildings, hotels, charter schools, and retail.

Kate earned a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan’s Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and an MBA in Real Estate from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She serves as Board Chair of Ednovate Public Schools in Los Angeles and as a Planning Commissioner for the City of Hermosa Beach.

Construction Manager

Tom Bilinski

Tom Bilinski manages the construction process for projects in the Northwest and Southwest regions for all funds managed by Turner Impact Capital. Tom has been in the commercial construction industry for 29 years and has been a General Contractor for the past 20 years in the State of California. Prior to joining the Turner Impact Capital team, Tom was a Consultant to General Contractors in the State of California working on custom homes, public assemblies, commercial properties and charter schools.

Thomas Isabel

Thomas Isabel is a Director at Turner Impact Capital focused on its Multifamily Housing Initiatives and is responsible for acquisitions underwriting, transaction due diligence, and management of portfolio assets.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Thomas was an Investment Associate for Greystar Real Estate Partners, a fully integrated multifamily real estate company offering expertise in investment management, development and property management of rental housing properties globally. Prior to Greystar, Thomas was an Analyst at Hodes Weill & Associates where he focused on Investment Banking and Strategic Advisory engagements for real estate private equity funds.

Thomas received a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Investments and Corporate Finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill along with a minor in German.

Katie Winthrop

Katie Winthrop is Managing Director and Co-Head of Turner Impact Capital’s Multifamily Housing Initiatives, where she helps shape and execute the firm’s strategy to acquire, preserve, and enrich affordable workforce housing throughout the U.S. She leads asset management and the implementation of social and environmental impact programs across the multifamily portfolio.

Before joining Turner Impact Capital, Katie was with Cohen & Steers, a global investment manager, where she worked on the U.S. Real Estate team covering public equity investments in the retail, student housing, and manufactured housing sectors. She began her career as an equity research analyst on Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s U.S. Real Estate team.

Katie holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Hamilton College and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Director of Construction Services

Bob Flynn

Bob Flynn manages the construction process for projects in the Northeast and Southeast regions for all funds managed by Turner Impact Capital. Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, he was Senior Property Manager at CB Richard Ellis and First Vice-President of Engineering & Construction for Countrywide Financial responsible for managing construction and operations for a portfolio of 6 million and 2.5 million square feet respectively of critical data and call centers and cash vaults.

Vice President of Operations

Paige Velazquez

As Vice President of Operations, Paige plans, directs, and oversees all property operations for TI Communities, ensuring the development and implementation of efficient and effective systems to support the Company’s mission. Paige brings over 20 years of diverse multifamily property management experience, including experience in operations, acquisitions, training, renovations, recruiting, and large-scale event planning.

Previously, she held roles at Price Brothers, Gaines Investment Trust, and Steadfast Companies. Paige attended Tarleton State University, was a chairperson for the Food for Kids program in Stephenville, Texas, and has a heart for serving our most at-risk communities.

Highly regarded by for her ability to celebrate individual talents and leverage unique contributions for the greater good, Paige is known for her vivacious spirit, leadership, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Director of Impact and Brand Management

Kate Hetherington

Kate leads the design and implementation of community impact, marketing, and brand strategies at TI Communities. She is responsible for executing the company’s mission by creating access to and awareness of needs-based programs, services, and resources while embedding its overall ethos into every step of the resident journey to create an exceptional experience from digital to in-person.

Kate previously spent 10 years in the nonprofit sector, working closely with philanthropic partners to align charitable giving priorities with organizational strategies to raise funds and connect community members to meaningful engagement opportunities.

Kate holds a BA from the University of Oklahoma.

Construction Manager

Brad Kettelle

Brad Kettelle manages the construction process for projects in the Eastern regions for all funds managed by Turner Impact Capital. Brad is a licensed general contractor and electrician with more than 35 years of field and business administration experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Brad was a Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Blackwell Construction where he built a portfolio of 50 charter schools in the state of California, 62 live/work condominium units; and numerous projects worth $15 million annually. Brad attended Roger Williams College in Bristol, Rhode Island and studied Architecture.

Operations Manager

Erika Garcia

As Operations Manager, Erika is responsible for execution of strategic initiatives, supporting high-priority capital projects, and leading due diligence efforts during the acquisition of new communities. Ms. Garcia spearheads a team providing operational support to onsite team members with a focus on productivity and enhancing the resident experience.

Erika brings 15 years of multi-family property management experience and previously held roles at Steadfast Companies and NuRock Properties. Erika is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and helping others.

Controller

Alison Hagen

As Controller, Alison Hagen is responsible for oversight of the accounting, reporting, and capital planning objectives across all of Turner Impact Capital’s various funds.

Prior to joining Tuner Impact Capital, Alison was Senior Accounting & Finance Manager at The Wonderful Company, where she had responsibility for oversight of the accounting and finance personnel. Alison aided in the growth of the real estate department which included recording property acquisitions and disposals, audit compliance, tax projections, investor relations, financial forecasting, software implementation, and analyzing financials. Before The Wonderful Company, Alison worked in the Audit Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she specialized in consumer products clients.

Alison has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from University of Arizona, a Masters in Accountancy from the University of Southern California, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Associate Counsel

Chance Brooks

Chance Brooks is Associate Counsel at Turner Impact Capital, where he provides legal guidance across the firm’s investment platforms.

Prior to joining Turner Impact, Chance practiced real estate law at a national law firm, where he advised institutional clients on complex acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across multiple asset classes.

Chance earned his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Associate Director

Marina Hrosz

Marina Hrosz is an Associate Director supporting the underwriting, due diligence, negotiation and execution of investment opportunities and management of portfolio assets for the Turner Healthcare Facilities Fund.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Marina was an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America in their Financial Sponsors Group, where she was responsible for providing analysis on M&A, debt and equity transactions.

Marina is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.B.A in Finance and B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics) and the University of California, Los Angeles (M.A. in Quantitative Economics).

Associate Director

Maria Balaeskoul

Maria Balaeskoul is an Associate Director for the Turner Healthcare Facilities Fund, focused on supporting the underwriting, due diligence, negotiation and execution of investment opportunities and management of portfolio assets.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Maria was an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays in the Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging Group, where she was responsible for performing valuation analyses for various transaction types, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital markets transactions.

Maria is a graduate of Yale University with a B.A. in Global Affairs.

Associate Director

Alec Addicott

Alec Addicott is an Associate at Turner Impact Capital focused on its Multifamily Housing Initiatives. Alec is involved in all aspects of managing a portfolio of apartment communities throughout the country as well as supporting due diligence and underwriting efforts.

Prior to joining the team at Turner, Alec was an analyst at JRK Property Holdings, a private real estate investment and asset management firm in Los Angeles.

Isabelle Noëlsaint

Isabelle Noëlsaint is an Associate for the Turner Multifamily Impact Funds and the Turner-Agassi Charter School Facilities Funds, supporting the underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Isabelle was an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the Financial Institutions Group, where she focused on capital markets and mergers & acquisitions advisory for companies in the Insurance sector.

Isabelle is a graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management with concentrations in Finance and International Trade & Development.

Assistant Controller

Spencer Schaaf

As Assistant Controller, Spencer Schaaf is responsible for managing the accounting, reporting, and capital planning objectives across all of Turner Impact Capital’s various funds.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Spencer was a Tax Manager at CohnReznick LLP and was a member of the financial services & commercial real estate teams. During his tenure, Spencer was responsible for overseeing compliance, analyzing financials, and advising clients in matters related to tax and GAAP accounting.

Spencer has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy from California State University Northridge and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Associate

Audria Amirian

Audria Amirian is an Associate at Turner Impact Capital focused on its Multifamily Housing Initiatives. Audria is involved in all facets of measuring, managing, and reporting on the impact of Turner Impact’s multifamily housing investments throughout the country as well as supporting market research efforts.

Prior to joining the team at Turner, Audria was an acquisitions analyst at Clear Capital LLC, a real estate private equity firm where she was responsible for underwriting, due diligence and market research. Before Clear Capital, Audria was a research analyst at Newmark Knight Frank, where she wrote nationally published quarterly reports covering the Los Angeles commercial real estate market.

Audria is a graduate of Harvard College with a B.A. in Economics and Government and Citation in Spanish.

Caroline Ufondu

Caroline Lehman is an Associate at Turner Impact Capital focused on its Multifamily Housing Initiatives with primary responsibility for management of portfolio assets.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Caroline was an associate at Hines, a privately held real estate investor and manager. At Hines, she managed the development of multifamily units in the Mid-Atlantic, including financial analysis, entitlement, design, and construction. Prior to joining Hines, Caroline worked as an engineer at Clark Construction, Langan Engineering, and Soltesz.

Caroline is a graduate of Duke University (B.S.E., Civil and Environmental Engineering) and The University of Michigan, Ross School of Business (M.B.A.).

Development Associate

Krystal Resendez

Krystal Resendez is a Development Associate at Turner Impact Capital focused on its Healthcare Initiatives, and is involved in supporting all facets of acquisition, construction, administration, and asset management.

Prior to joining Turner Healthcare Facilities Fund, Krystal was a Project Coordinator for a general contractor that specializes in healthcare and hospitality, where she worked on ground-up medical office buildings and hospitals, treatment room upgrades, tenant improvements, and surgery centers spanning across Southern California.

Krystal is a graduate of the University of San Francisco (B.A. English).

Development Associate

Nimi Kalmanovich

Nimi Kalmanovich is a Development Associate for the Turner Impact Rebuild Altadena Fund and Turner Impact Capital CDE, where he supports the underwriting, due diligence, negotiation, and execution of investment opportunities, as well as the ongoing management of portfolio assets.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Nimi served as a Development Associate at The Latigo Group. In that role, he was responsible for underwriting, investment structuring, due diligence, valuation, asset management, and property disposition across a range of real estate investments.

Nimi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, Berkeley.

Development Analyst

Gabe Thuma

Gabe Thuma is a Development Analyst at Turner Impact Capital focused on the Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds. Gabe is responsible for the asset management of a nationwide portfolio of community-serving healthcare facilities.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Gabe was a project manager at East LA Community Corporation, a non-profit affordable housing developer where he combined his experience in real estate with his fluency in Spanish to work on ground up apartment developments. Prior to East LA Community Corporation, Gabe began his career in the acquisition and disposition of investment real estate for New Western Acquisitions.

Gabe received a B.S. in Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder with a Minor in Leadership.

Analyst

Joe Yoon

Joseph Yoon is an Analyst at Turner Impact Capital, where he supports the firm’s Multifamily Housing initiatives. His focus includes underwriting, due diligence, and portfolio asset management, contributing to the investment process from evaluation through ongoing oversight.

Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Joseph was an Investment Analyst at Kairos Investment Management Company. There, he was engaged in acquisitions, asset management, dispositions, and refinancing strategies across the firm’s portfolio.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Administrative Assistant

Kevin Costopoulos

As an Administrative Assistant, Kevin Costopoulos provides support for department leaders including data entry, document preparation and execution, and record management. Additionally, Kevin interacts with the Office Manager to ensure all office functions and procedures are running smoothly.

Prior to joining the team at Turner Impact Capital, Kevin was an associate Financial Planner at HoyleCohen, a comprehensive Wealth Management firm, where he focused on financial projection analysis and client relations.

Kevin is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago with a BBA in Marketing from the Quinlan School of Business and received his Personal Financial Planning certification from UCLA.

Receptionist/Assistant

Olivia Schultz

Olivia Schultz serves as the Receptionist/Assistant at Turner, where she supports departmental leaders by managing key communication functions. Her responsibilities include handling all incoming and outgoing mail and shipments, directing phone inquiries, and organizing internal communications. She also plays a vital role in coordinating administrative functions such as document preparation, DocuSign processing, correspondence, and meeting room scheduling. In addition, Olivia ensures calendar efficiency, contributing to the smooth operation of daily office activities.

Before joining Turner, Olivia spent more than three years at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, where she supported the administrative team and managed front desk operations.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Art from the University of Oregon.

Senior Advisor

Michelle Felman

Michelle Felman serves as a Senior Advisor to Turner Impact Capital and as a member of the investment committee for the Turner Healthcare Facilities Funds. Michelle began her career at Morgan Stanley in the Investment Banking Division. She later joined GE Capital as a Managing Director of Business Development, where she was responsible for the acquisition of real estate and non- performing loans from the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), banks and insurance companies in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and France. From 1997-2010, Michelle served as the Executive Vice President – Co-Head of Acquisitions and Capital Markets for Vornado Realty Trust (VNO:NYSE), where she oversaw the firm’s asset and corporate acquisition activity and mezzanine debt activity. She remained a consultant to VNO through December 2012, where she served as a board member of LNR, the largest special servicer in the United States until the company was sold to Starwood Capital in April 2013.

Michelle received her B.A. from The University of California, Berkeley with highest honors and her M.B.A. from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Executive Committee of The Zell-Lurie Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She recently completed her term as a Trustee of The Partners Group (PGHN: SIX), a global private equity firm with $90B assets under management, where she served as Chair of the Investment Oversight Committee as well as a member of both the Audit Committee and the Compensation and Governance Committee. Michelle is also on the Board of Directors of Cumming Corporation, a global project management company with 30 offices worldwide and Reonomy, a real estate technology company. She was a member of the board of SVAC, a Starboard Value sponsored SPAC prior to its merger with Cyxtera and is now a member of the Cyxtera board (CYXT:NASDAQ).
